Events Coordinator – 6 months Fixed Term Contract

Overview:
Hallgarten Wines is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Administrator to join our busy Events team on a 6 months fixed-term basis. This will support the planning and execution of a varied programme of trade tasting events across the UK including our flagship Annual Portfolio Tasting and other regional events. You will help ensure smooth delivery of these tastings, working on event administration, planning and delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and enthusiastic individual looking to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic events environment and the wine industry.
Main Purpose:
- To work closely with the Marketing & Events Manager, and the events team, to provide the marketing administration, coordination and support for the delivery of a robust marketing and events programme for the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of Hallgarten Wines' events calendar, providing administrative and operational support across the Events team.
- Assist with coordination and event logistics, including wine sample ordering, customer registrations, attendee communications, and RSVP management.
- Assist with the production and proofreading of tasting booklets and other event collateral, ensuring all information is accurate, consistent, and delivered to deadline.
- Provide on-site support at Tastings, helping to ensure a seamless experience
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Marketing Department, supporting a variety of projects and activities
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
- Highly organised, with previous experience in events preferred.
- Proactive, adaptable with good communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- An interest in the wine industry, with previous experience working within the wine trade or a related sector desirable
